Mini Kamajans Programme
Adventure Winter

Mini Kamajans is an adventure based programme, using the great outdoors as the medium to reach its learning outcomes.

Trained practitioners, who are also parents, nurture the learning experiences through exploration, and discovery. They also assist the child during meaningful life experiences such as Zip Lining and Archery so that this experience can be transformed into a positive, lifelong impact on self-confidence and social skills.

Another important aim of this programme is to help the child to detach from their parents, spend quality time with peers and make new friends of their age in the outdoors. To assist us in this aim, sessions are on a drop-off scheme. We understand that certain children may cry on drop-off, but normally this lasts until playing starts.

Requirements
Mini kamajans are required to:
1. Be toilet trained
2. Can communicate in either English or Maltese (sessions are delivered in English)
3. Able to follow basic instructions and obey
4. Attend a child care centre or Kindergarten

Classes
The children will be divided into classes according to their ages or where applicable, according to their abilities. Each class will be supervised

Dates
The Mini Kamajans caters for children between the ages of 3 and 4 years old. In order to focus and dedicate all the attention and resources on the children, this specifically designed programme shall run for 10 sessions as indicated.

Individual Attention
Although adequate supervision will be provided at all times, adventure is inherently dangerous and we confirm that the children are active almost all the time. For your child's safety, parents who know that they have children with indications of challenging behaviours, and/or do not obey, and/or have their individual style and wonders off, are also required to have their Support Educator. We do not provide SE's.

Adventure Programme
The activities are planned to enhance the child's self-belief, social skills, love for nature and the outdoors, fine motor skills, communication and attention skills and more. The planned activities are as follows, however, they will be delivered according to the day's ambient requirements.

1. Archery
2. Zip Lining
3.
Giving Games
4. Air Force Hunt
5. Outdoor Cooking
6. Scavenger Hunts
7.  Military Fun Games
